VK2/NW-001, Mount Kaputar, 11th April-2019, VK2NU/P and VK2WFT/P
A 10-point drive up summit, in the Kaputar National Park.
There is a carpark, and a couple of picnic tables about 50m from the summit. By my calculations these are just about within the AZ, but to make sure, we set-up halfway up the raised walking platform, strapping a squidpole to the fence post.
It was overcast, about 16ºC when we arrived, and we had the summit to ourselves.

Tony, VK2WFT qualified the summit on SSB, and then I made 6 contacts on CW. As you'd expect at this height, Phone coverage was excellent.
It would have been nice to activate the third summit, off Kaputar Road (VK2/NW-004 Mount Coryah), but by the time we drove past it, it was 3pm, and chances of getting back to the car, and out of the park by dark were not good.
